It was great fun!

The Very Busy Spider

Hi there! 

Did you have a nice week?

These last few days we did another Storytelling project in class. This time we read The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle. 

On Thursday we listened to the Story and made a poster and some puppets.

On Friday we wrote our own mini-book about The Very Busy Spider with the names of the animals and their sounds, that in fact in English are different.

Finally we used the puppets to tell the story to our friends!

Estos últimos días hemos hecho otro mini proyecto en clase con el cuento The Very Busy Spider de Eric Carle. 

El jueves escuchamos la historia e hicimos un póster y unas marionetas.

El viernes escribimos nuestro propio cuento de la araña con los nombres de los animales y sus sonidos. que además en inglés algunos son diferentes. 

Después usamos las marionetas para contarle el cuento a nuestros compañeros.

Seguramente lo conocéis pero Eric Carle es un autor de libros para niños muy famoso y también crea las ilustraciones de sus cuentos. 

Este curso vamos a trabajar con varios títulos suyos en nuestros proyectos de Storytelling. 

Son libros infantiles que no tienen mucho texto y son muy intuitivos, si os gustan podéis haceros con algunos de ellos. Yo los compro en Amazon que es donde más fácilmente los encuentro en inglés.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Yesterday we celebrated it at school, we had so much fun!!! We wore many different costumes: witch,bat,vampire, skeleton, mummy, pumpkin, black cat,zombie, etc. 
Our assistants told us a Halloween story and we sang a song. 

 After that, we listened to a story in the playground with our friends from grade 2. We enjoyed it a lot!

Our school corridors and classroom were decorated and we had a tour to see all the doors and vote for the best one. 

We also did some worksheets about Halloween and topics that we are already studying. 

Finally we sang "Trick or treat" and got some sweets, it was a fantastic day!

Ayer celebramos Halloween en el colegio, ¡nos lo pasamos genial! Íbamos disfrazados de muchas cosas: bruja, murciélago, vampiro, esqueleto, momia, calabaza, gato, zombie, etc. Nuestros assistants nos contaron una historia de Halloween y cantamos una canción. Después, escuchamos un cuento en el patio con nuestros compañeros de 2º, ¡nos gustó mucho! 
Los pasillos y las clases estaban decoradas e hicimos un recorrido para ver la decoración de las puertas y votar nuestra favorita. 
También hicimos trabajos sobre Halloween y cosas que estamos estudiando en clase. 
Al final de la mañana cantamos "Trick or Treat" y nos dieron caramelos, ¡fue un día fantástico!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Hello everybody!

Last week we did a little Story Telling project in class with The Very Hungry Caterpillar book by Eric Carle. 

We listened to the story, read it and made a poster. 

 The following day we watched a video and we wrote our own Caterpillar book!!! It was fantastic =)
