Remember that an ecosystem is a natural area. In an ecosistem there are living things (animals and plants) and non-living things (rocks, soil, air, water, etc).

Some exaples of ecosystems are: jungle, grasslands, forest, fresh water ecosystems (pond, river), salt water ecosystems (sea, ocean) or the North Pole.
